Our Arabic teachers are all native Arabic speakers who come from all over the Arabic-Speaking world: Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Iran, Iraq, Algeria, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia and Yemen are just a few. We offer Arabic lessons for beginners, intermediate Arabic and advanced Arabic lessons. We can prepare you to attend a wedding or simply improve your basic Arabic to make a holiday a more enjoyable experience.

Learn Arabic with one of our native Arabic language tutors and discover Arabic culture of the countries where it is spoken. By telling us which form of Arabic you wish to speak or which country you are travelling to, we will be able to source an Arabic language tutor who caters to your specific reason for learning Arabic.

Ways to Learn Arabic with Tutorcom:


Lessons take place at your home or office (or other venue chosen by you) and can take place any time between 8am and 9pm (Monday to Fridays) or at weekends (flexible times). Our recommendation is for 1.5-hour lessons but lessons can be 1 hour or longer.

 

Arabic Lesson Costs:
One-to-One Tuition:    £40 per hour
Small Group Tuition:   £50 per hour

A Few Facts…Arabic

  • Spoken by more than 280 million people as a first language and by 250 million more as a second language
  • Most native Arabic speakersarabic writing live in the Middle Eastern and Northern Africa: Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Oman, The United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Mauretania, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Sudan, Jordan, Israel, Djibouti, and Somalia. There are also Arabic-speaking populations in Turkey, Iran, Central Asia, and Sub-Saharan Africa.
  • Each region has its own dialect and culture and not all of the local varieties are mutually intelligible
  • Modern Standard Arabic is widely taught in schools, universities, and used in the office and the media. It is also the most popular form of Arabic for students to learn.
  • Colloquial Arabic is a collective term for the spoken varieties of Arabic used throughout the
  • Arab world, which can differ quite drastically from the literary language.
  • Egyptian Arabic, spoken by around 76 million people, is one of the most understood varieties of Arabic.
  • Arabic is written from right to left.
