Ways to Learn Czech with Tutorcom:

Flexible Regular Czech Lessons for individuals
Flexible Regular Czech Lessons for small groups (2-5 students)
Czech for children
Intensive Courses (One day, 15 or 30-hour Intensives)

Lessons take place at your home or office (or other venue chosen by you) and can take place any time between 8am and 9pm (Monday to Fridays) or at weekends (flexible times). Our recommendation is for 1.5-hour lessons but lessons can be 1 hour or longer.

Costs:
One-to-One Tuition: £40 per hour
Small Group Tuition: £50 per hour

A Few Facts…Czech

Spoken by 12 million people in the Czech Republic.
Czech is similar to and mutually intelligible with Slovak and, to a lesser extent, to Polish and Sorbian.
The name Czech is meant to be derived from the name of a tribe that inhabited Central Bohemia and united neighbouring Slavic tribes.
Some Czech words do not appear to have vowels but there are in fact 10 vowels in the Czech language: 5 short and 5 long vowels.
In the Czech Republic two distinct variants of spoken Czech can be found: Common Czech", spoken especially in Bohemia and a variant spoken mostly in Moravia and Silesia.
