Private Intensive Language Courses
At Tutorcom, we offer 3 main formats for intensives as well as a tailored option:
One-Day Intensive
15-Hour Intensive (1 week)
30-Hour Intensive (1 or 2 weeks)
Tailored Intensive (course tailored to your fit your schedule)
One-Day Intensive – From £320 plus vat, depending on the language you require
8 hours of Tuition divided into two 4-hour sessions, taken on the same day.
15-hour Intensive (1 week) – From £565 plus vat, depending on the language you require
The course must be completed within a week: each session lasts for 3 hours and we recommend one session per day for 5 days, as this allows time for the student to study what he has learned and to prepare for the next session.
30-hour Intensive (1 or 2 weeks) – From £1130 plus vat, depending on the language you require
The course must be completed within 2 weeks maximum: each session lasts for 3 hours with either one or two sessions per day. In the event of the student requesting 2 sessions a day, we will aim to provide two trainers – one for the morning and one for the afternoon.
Tailored Intensive (course tailored to your fit your schedule)
Tutorcom can tailor an intensive course to fit your schedule and requirements. Sessions must be 3 hours long minimum.
For example, we recently organised a 40-hour intensive Turkish course for a student who was being relocated to Turkey; the student studied 4 hours each day with his native Turkish teacher, spending part of the time improving his knowledge of the language and the rest delving into Turkish culture and etiquette in preparation for his new life abroad.
What level do I need to be to attend an intensive course?
Tutorcom language specialists recommend intensive for students who already have some basic knowledge of the language they wish to study so if you are a beginner, we would recommend that you start with a few less-intense sessions first in order to “break into the language”.
How many people can attend an intensive?
Intensives are most efficient when delivered to an individual or a very small group – we recommend no more than 3 students although this is flexible and we can adapt our courses to your requirements.
